NYC is finally catching some nice weather, after few days of rain delays.  Thanks to the new roof they were able to complete most of the matches on schedule.

Friday started extremely well for American Jack Sock who has defeated number 7 seed Marin Cilic 6-4, 6-3, 6-3. Tsonga is also through to the R4 by beating Anderson 6-3, 6-4, 7-6.

Caroline Wozniacki had an easy match against Niculescu, she won 6-3, 6-1. Seems this might be her year to make some major impact at the Open. 2015 finalist Roberta Vinci reached R4 after dropping a set against German Witthoeft 6-0, 5-7, 6-3.

Today we are still anticipating to see Novak Djokovic as well as Rafa Nadal. Stayed tuned for some more updates.
