Alexander Zverev Deals with Stomach Bug

On first Saturday, Alex Zverev is sent home packing after his five-set battle versus Latvian player Ernest Gulbis (qualifier). It seems that Alex was already feeling week in his previous match where he has barely beaten Taylor Fritz, another teen sensation. In the press conference, Zverev mentioned he has been dealing with the stomach bug for the last couple of days and it was impossible for him to perform at a high level as he was left with no energy in the middle of the fourth set.
