Side-Shuffle Cone Drill (Backhand)

  • Set up five or four cones (depending on the rate of feed)
  • Player has to move sideways throughout the cones
  • Important that player is using small steps to side-shuffle
  • Do 3-sets of 30 balls and work up to 5-sets of 30 balls.
  • At the end of the cones player has to hit a backhand (out of the jump and throw the weight into the ball)
  • This can be used either as a fitness drill or form drill in case you slow down the rate of the feed
