Rafa Nadal Warmup

Rafael Nadal is warming up with Grigor Dimitrov at Miami Open 2017

  • Rafa is hitting the ball at slow pace to get the rhythm and feel for the ball first
  • Warm up from baseline hitting the ball at 60 percent of full pace should last about 15 minutes each practice
  • A lot of club and junior players start blasting balls in their warmups and this video is a great example not to do that
  • Remember tennis is not all about power but mainly about feel for the ball.
