Loading Forehand Drill

This drill is designed for a player to load on their right leg every time when hitting a shot.

  • Place a towel/bag/sweatshirt (whatever available) on the backhand side of the court
  • Have a player load low down (lunge as they were hitting a forehand)
  • Feed balls every 5 seconds (or use ball machine)
  • The initial starting point will force the player to keep the same form when hitting the forehand itself
  • Do 3 sets of 30 balls and work your way up to 5 sets of 30 balls
